How does behavioral therapy work?

Behavioral health care is a collaborative treatment based on the relationship between an individual and a therapist. Grounded in dialogue, it provides a supportive environment that allows patients to talk openly with someone whose objective, neutral, and nonjudgmental approach aims at making patients feel heard, understood, and supported.

Allowing patients to deal with their mental health symptoms, this treatment helps build self-esteem, reduce anxiety, strengthen coping mechanisms, and improve social and community functioning.

Talk therapy and other services

Klarisana’s therapy services are offered through a number of different modalities, including strengths-based therapy, somatic therapy, trauma-focused therapy, internal family systems therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy.

Psychotherapy services can be reinforced by ketamine therapy as a supplement if the patient feels ready and wishes to do so. Both behavioral and ketamine therapy serve their respective roles, but one is not necessarily better than the other; they are both tools that can aid and supplement one another.
